The industry-recognised 2025 Menopause and Menstruation Friendly Employer Awards has revealed its finalists. Now in their fourth year, the awards saw a record number of entries from both large and small employers spanning public and private sectors.

Finalists include a diverse range of organisations, from high street banks to a hospice, county councils to charities, NHS trusts to a transport provider.

A new format for 2025

For the first time, this year’s Awards will take place in a daytime format, with inspirational speakers, practical panels and community networking sessions. In a unique twist, three regional events in Nottingham, London and Liverpool will simultaneously announce the winners on Wednesday 24 September 2025.

Established by Henpicked: Menopause in the Workplace, the prestigious awards were judged by an independent panel of experts. They looked for organisations and individuals who could demonstrate how their commitment and determination have succeeded in providing support, solutions and resources that normalise menopause and menstruation in the workplace.

“This year’s awards have seen more entries than ever and an absolutely outstanding quality of work” says Deborah Garlick, CEO of Menopause Friendly by Henpicked. “The passion and determination of Menopause Friendly and Menstruation Friendly members shines through their efforts while the impact of their work is genuinely life-changing for their colleagues and communities. The Awards events in London, Nottingham and Liverpool promise to be packed with people joining us for knowledge sharing and networking alongside celebrating this year’s winners.”

Generous support

Thanks to generous sponsors and supporters, the Awards raise vital funds for menopause and menstruation-related charities, programmes and research. Since its inception, the event has raised £190,000 and this year is on track to reach £230,000.

Making the magic happen are headline sponsor Peppy, alongside Boots and No7 Beauty Company, British Airways, Mars, QVC, Standard Chartered and Menopace by Vitabiotics. The event is also proudly supported by The British Standards Institution (BSI), CIPD, Society of Occupational Medicine (SOM) and The Gym Group.

Open to all Menopause and Menstruation Friendly Member organisations and their employees, the Awards shine a light on those going above and beyond to support women’s health and wellbeing in the workplace.
