COMMITTED AND ACCREDITED

What’s the difference?

It’s our mission for all employers to be Menopause Friendly, so those experiencing menopause can continue thriving at work. That’s why we made The Menopause Friendly Accreditation.

Since its launch in 2021, over 500 UK employers have committed to being menopause friendly and nearly 100 have achieved The Menopause Friendly Accreditation.

Employers that are committed to being menopause friendly have joined menopause friendly membership to start their journey towards accreditation.

Gaining accreditation is so much more than ticking a box. Accredited menopause friendly employers have demonstrated to The Menopause Friendly panel of experts that they’re a great place to work for those experiencing menopause across five key accreditation pillars.

As a result, we’ve seen huge change in UK employers. In 2017, we couldn’t find a menopause policy or guidance document in the UK. Today, 25% of employers have one.

The world is taking notice, with global coverage and participation from New York to Germany, and Australian and New Zealand Employers joining in.
