The Menopause Friendly Accreditation, run by Henpicked: Menopause in the Workplace Ltd, is dedicated to making workplaces inclusive and supportive for everyone experiencing menopause.

We believe that every employer should strive to create environments where individuals feel valued, supported, and empowered throughout their careers, particularly during this important life stage. That all organisations are menopause friendly!

Henpicked Menopause in the Workplace is the organisation responsible for running the membership on behalf of the Menopause Friendly Accreditation Independent Panel. Together, we ensure that our initiatives and awards continue to make a positive impact on workplaces, communities and individuals. We are a purpose-focused, championing inclusivity and support for menopause-related experiences in the workplace.

This Menopause Friendly Employer Awards in September 2023 were a huge success, raising an impressive £75,000. This brings our total fundraising efforts to an incredible £150,000 since we started, making a real impact in supporting essential services and research for those facing menopause-related challenges.

We’re proud to have supported menopause charities and menopause research. Some of the notable beneficiaries of our fundraising efforts include Bournemouth University, where we are fully funding a 3-year study into the impact of menopause symptoms on autistic individuals, focusing on workplace support and adjustments. Wellbeing of Women for research into women’s health. Additionally, we continue to support The Daisy Network, offering crucial assistance to those impacted by early menopause and Premature Ovarian Insufficiency (POI) through informational resources and support groups. Furthermore, our donations to Bloody Good Period help provide essential period products to those in need, furthering our commitment to supporting individuals across various menopause-related challenges.

These contributions help them continue their important work in women’s health, workplace inclusivity, and providing necessary resources to those in need.
